Guide to blade types

• 6 tpi - Suitable for cutting wood. (Although as metal cutting saw it's not sufficiently fast for wood cutting, it can nevertheless cut wood efficiently if required.)

• 10 tpi - For large selection bar stock.

• 14 tpi - General purpose blade for most bar stock in mild steel, aluminium, brass and plastic.

• 18 tpi - Light gauge material, for example light wall tube and extrusions.
