Another Warco exclusive, in response to customer demand, we're happy to be introducing a rear tool post designed specifically to fit our small to medium sized variable speed lathes.

Designed in house by Warco engineers.

This rigid tool post requires our base plate to fit (details below).

(For WM 240B please enquire about compatibility, as the corresponding base plate requires tee slots)

More details

• Designed for parting off from the rear - which dramatically reduces the large spindle loading compared to a front mounted parting of system.

• Parting off from the rear also avoids blade or tip damage experienced when parting off from the front.

• The corresponding base plate has a machined slot which engages with a tenon on the underside of the tool post to avoid rotation.

• Cross Slide Base Plate - for WM 240 & 250 Lathes (Item No. 9576)

Base plate mounts directly onto lathe cross slide, allowing you to fit this rear tool post.

Compatible parting off tools include

• 1/2" Shank Parting Off (Item No. 9036)

Postage and packaging within mainland UK is free for orders over £50 for the majority of orders, with the following exceptions:

• Machinery weighing 500kg or more - delivery price varies according to size, weight and location; subject to quote.
• Spare parts - minimum delivery charge is £4.50.
• Stands or trays ordered without a machine - delivery price is £50, but there's no extra charge if ordered at the same time as a machine.
• Used machinery - delivery price varies according to size, weight and location.
• For orders under £50 - UK mainland delivery is £6.50.
