Warco GH1640 / GH1660 Lathes

The GH1640 and GH1660 metalworking lathes are ideal for heavy duty, industrial tasks. Standard features are chrome molybdenum headstock gears, which are hardened and ground. A large diameter spindle is supported by taper roller bearings, and the lathes have an 80mm spindle bore.

Quiet running is assured, and the machines have solid, high quality bed casting, with hardened and ground sideways. Saddle slideways are Turcite-B coated, one shot lubrication system to slides, jogging button, offset tailstock facility, five position carriage stop and telescopic leadscrew covers.

Both the GH1650 and GH1660 have a removable gap bed to allow a 700mm swing, and have a universal gearbox for inch, metric and module threads - a lever selection means change gears isn't required. Each machine comes with an individual accuracy test report.

Standard equipment is as follows: 250mm 3 Jaw chuck, 300mm 4 Jaw independent chuck, 300mm faceplate, 4 way indexing tool post, fixed and travelling steadies, coolant system, full length rear splash guard, foot operated spindle brake, halogen work lamp, thread dial indicator, mounting pads and levelling screws, headstock reducer sleeve 7MT-5MT and dead centre.
